Testing Instructions

Insta Test 3 for Pools & Spas

  1. Immerse one test strip for 2 seconds.
  2. Remove with pads face up. 
  3. Shake once to remove excess water
  4. Read immediately

Tips:  Keep wet fingers out of the bottle, close cap tightly after removing strip.  In pools, immerse strip to a depth of 6”.  In spas, turn off jets and immerse strip to a depth of 6”.  For best results, read in natural daylight.

Store in a cool, dry place.

The Insta-TEST® 3 Plus pool & spa strip measures Free Chlorine 0-10 ppm, Bromine 0-20 ppm, Total Alkalinity 0-240 ppm, and pH 6.2-9.0. This test strip is a dip-n-read strip with instant results.

Insta-Test Phosphate Test Strip for Pools & Spas

  1. Fill test tube to 10 ml line
  2. Remove one test strip, gently bend strip in half (do not fold) with pads facing inward.  Place strip inside test tube cap.
  3. Cap test tube and invert slowly 5 times(invert the tube slowly to allow the bubble to go from the top to bottom and bottom to top).
  4. Remove cap and test strip.
  5. Place bottom of test tube on white boxed area of color chart.  Look down through OPEN test tube and compare to color chart.
