Easy Instructions

  1. Start with clean water that is less than 60 days old or purge with Clean & Drain and refill with clean water.
  2. Turn spa on and set filtration to a minimum of 8 hours/day, (first 6 weeks).
  3. Set heat to desired temperature.
  4. Check pH and alkalinity and adjust if needed. Add 1 capful of pH product, wait one hour, then retest and add more accordingly.
  5. When spa is up to temperature check pH and alkalinity again and adjust if needed. (Check frequently for the first month, until pH stays stabile, then check once a week).
  6. Add one 12 oz. bottle of Waters Choice PURE ENZYMES for Spas. This is a one time, first month only treatment.
  7. Add Waters Choice Sanitizer (Follow recommended label rates).
  8. Clean filters once a week for the first 6 weeks! After that, clean every other week.
  9. After the first month, switch to the 2 oz. blue bottle of Waters Choice Spa Treatment (enzyme concentrate) and ADD 1 CAPFUL EVERY OTHER WEEK from then on – even after a drain and refill. That’s it! This enzyme treatment is doing most of the work keeping your spa clean. Make sure to add it consistently per directions!
  10. Use your new spa.
  11. Note: Most spas develop cloudy water during the first month. This is normal. Add 2 tsp. Sanitizer every other time you use the spa until clear.
  12. Important: adding more chlorine will clear up the cloudiness, but we really want the cloudy phase to run its course. This should clear up in about 4 weeks. You are ok to use your hot tub during that phase.

    Love Waters Choice

    I have been using Waters Choice enzymes now for over 8 years. I never use chlorine or other chemicals and since I have a sensitivity to them it is fabulous to be able to have a product this wonderful for my hot tub.
